HOLDEN, Mass. — The director of the Gale Free Library will be today's guest for coffee at the Holden Senior Center, and residents are invited to come by to learn about what's new at the library.
Susan Scott began as director in April of 2010, coming from a library in Jefferson, New York.
Drawn to the library in part because of its impressive and extensive collection, Scott is passionate about books, and has a particular fondness for historical mysteries and
Scott also contributes reading recommendations to TheDailyHolden.com, such as Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go, and Stef Penney's The Tenderness of Wolves.
The informal coffee talk will be held at the Senior Center at 11 a.m. on Thursday Feb. 16. There will be time for questions and answers.
